Here we are again with another Taste of Folk Fundraiser for the Bundanoon Folk Festival. Experience the magic of a cappella harmony.Folk music has always been about telling stories in song. This concert features three very different, mostly unaccompanied, vocal groups telling their stories in the lovely acoustic space provided by the historic Bundanoon Uniting Church.Ecopella is a choir that has been causing harmony to the environment for decades. Be prepared to swoon to love songs to mother earth and be uplifted and inspired by hope and calls to action. Sharing stories of passion for the environment and our relationship to the planet we live on.Andsome Friends is a vocal ensemble that is original, versatile and fun. Presenting new music written and arranged by members of the group, they will take you on a crazy musical journey that covers everything from quirky rounds, mash-ups of familiar cartoon theme songs, fast paced wordy folk jigs, upbeat rocky grooves to soul filled love songs of loss and longing.Karisma is a story in itself. Formed in 1970 in western Sydney to showcase the fabulous jazz style arrangements of Peter Paige (now resident in Moss Vale) Jeanette and Dallas have been in love with this music for 50 years! With two new singers (both called Lisa) this quartet presents a glorious signature sound and beautiful songs that will set your spine tingling.
