Anthea da Silva - Live Drawing Workshop
Event description
Join us on Saturday 8 April for two hours of Dynamic Life Drawing with a real live model! Held at Leeton Museum & Gallery from 10am - 12pm (we ask for you to arrive at 9:30am as workshop will start at 10am). Participants will have access to some provided drawing materials, and are encouraged to bring along their favourite drawing tools. This is a Free workshop.
A word from Anthea:
We’ll nut out ways of seeing and mark-making using materials provided or you can BYO favourites. The session will be for beginners, the lapsed or experienced drawers. We’ll start with some 1 to 5 minute 'warm ups' where you can try various techniques, ask questions, make insightful comments, sigh - then there's the magic of time passing, each drawer seeing from a different angle, as the model takes up longer poses, twisting, stretching, squatting, relaxing. And we see & sense & draw together.
