Anthems In Eden

The iconic Mapleton Pub presents Anthems In Eden. A celebration of traditional folk music, a remembrance of ancient magic, a timeless space where the songs and stories of old will be brought to life in raw and authentic expression. Three outstanding acts will share their unique takes on both traditional and original tunes.

Headlining the night will be legendary and enigmatic folkie Brodie Buttons, with a voice rugged but sure, his songs distill an essence of our time and place that is too often lost to the hum of progress and modernity.

Also taking to the stage will be Van Dijk & Mcdonald - Jan Van Dijk and Conor Mcdonald marry fiddle, guitar and voice in an evocative exploration of folk music.

First up will be Anjali Leonard and Greasy Bennett. Anjali's pure and soul soothing tone combined with the strong voice of Greasy's fingerstyle guitar creates a distinct and enchanting sound laced with haunting harmonies and a capella renditions.
