How do we adapt to the turbulence and shocks of an age of planetary transition?

How can we prepare for both the anticipated and the unforeseen?

3rd Sunday • Regeneration

What must we do to put right the damage we have done and restore humankind's place in the web or life?

What resources of passion, courage, and creativity will we need?

What is a Yarning Circle?

Yarning circles are a timeless way of co-learning. Ever since people first walked the earth we have been sitting together and sharing our stories. Many groups have developed different approaches to yarning circles. All are valuable because they are based in human processes of caring and sharing.

Stories play a vital part in all our lives. These narratives reflect our experience, affirm our identity and allow us to share the significant meanings of our life and culture. Sharing and interweaving our understandings can help grow healing spaces for individuals and find healing pathways for groups and communities.

In a yarning circle, all participants are offered a chance to speak in a safe non-judgmental place and to share their experiences in an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. Yarning together is always focused on strengths not problem solving or criticism. This series of three yarning circles will draw upon our personal and collective learnings about sense-making, adaptation, and regeneration.

Please commit to all three Sunday afternoons.
