Anti-racism training

Join the City of Sydney free online training facilitated by The Australian Human Rights Commission, experts in anti-racism education and advocacy via Teams on Wednesday 19 June 2024 from 4.00pm – 6.00pm.

By the end of the 2-hour training, you’ll have developed your:

• understanding of racism, as both a concept and an experience
• understanding of race and racism in the Australian context, including relevant legislation such as the Racial Discrimination Act
• awareness of the impacts of racism
• tools and strategies for addressing and responding to racism when it’s experienced by colleagues, customers, or clients
• skills for effective bystander action

This training is for anyone who wants to improve their ability to address racist behaviours in their daily-life and the workplace.
