Event description

Join us for an unforgettable evening as the senior drama class presents a powerful rendition of Sophocles' timeless tragedy, Antigone. This gripping performance will take place over two nights in our school's Performing Arts Centre, showcasing the exceptional talent of our Year 12 & 13 students and the impressive technical creations of the Event & Entertainment Technology class.

Experience the emotional intensity of Antigone’s defiance as she stands up for her beliefs against the tyranny of King Creon. This ancient tale of loyalty, justice, and moral obligation resonates deeply with contemporary issues, making it a relevant and thought-provoking experience for all. The cast has poured their hearts into portraying the complex characters and themes that have fascinated audiences for centuries.

Doors will open 15 minutes before the curtain rises, so be sure to arrive early to find your seats. Please note that, as this is an internal performance assessment, latecomers will not be permitted into the theatre once the performance begins.

Don't miss this opportunity to witness a masterful interpretation of a classic work, brought to life by our dedicated senior drama class and the visionary talents behind the scenes. We look forward to welcoming you to an evening of drama, emotion, and artistic expression!
