Building and scaling a startup from zero to 1 requires grit, resilience and tenacity as a startup founder. But what does 1 to 100 look like as a startup makes the transition to a scaleup?

Zip, a fintech darling of the Australian startup scene, is one of those companies which has found phenomenal success, and now is eying global domination after launching in Australia in 2013.

And who better to share how it plans to do that than Dr Tommy Mermelshtayn, Zip’s Chief Strategy Officer, who has been with the company for the past five years and is charged with paving the way for the company’s international expansion and success.

Mermelshtayn will sit down with Antler Australia Managing Partner, Bede Moore, to discuss what happens once a business is ready to step up to the next level.

In this virtual fireside chat, we have the opportunity to chat with Zip’s Chief Strategy Officer about:

Zip Co's growth to date
The journey transitioning from startup to scaleup
What it takes to excel in corporate strategy
BNPL trends and opportunities
And more!

Founded in 2013, Zip has become a leading global BNPL company. With the recent merger with US-based Quadpay and expansions into new markets in the Middle East, Canada and Czech Republic, Zip has transformed from a local company to a global BNPL powerhouse currently operating in five markets
