No pressure, right?! It is often said that an 80,000-word thesis would take 9 hours to read out loud, but tonight's contestants have just 3 short minutes and a single PowerPoint slide to support them.

On the day, the finalists will vie for the coveted #ANU3MT 2026 crown, $4,000 in prize money and a place in the prestigious 3MT Asia-Pacific Grand Final. And you will get to have your say as we ask you to cast your vote for the People's Choice award, with the audience favourite taking home a $1,000 cash prize.
