ANU Field Safety Forum

The first of the ANU’s new regular Fieldwork Safety Forums will be held on Friday 01 December from 9am to 12 midday, in the Haydon-Allen Tank (Building 23). The forum will feature a panel of fieldwork experts from across the ANU, and will provide an opportunity for all staff and students undertaking fieldwork to be updated on best practice, discuss incidents that have occurred and how to avoid them, and canvass ideas on improving our safety in the field. The focus will be on decision-making under pressure, with a strong focus on the support that the ANU can provide.

This forum is recommended for all staff and students undertaking fieldwork of any kind. For those who cannot attend in person, a zoom version of the forum will be available.
