In the immediate aftermath of WWII, the Allies, led by unyielding chief prosecutor Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon), must ensure that the Nazi regime answers for the unveiled horrors of the Holocaust. Tasked with determining the mental fitness of Nazi prisoners to stand trial for their war crimes, American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley (Rami Malek) faces off against his most captivating and dangerous patient: former Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring (Russell Crowe), second-in-command to Adolf Hitler.
Inspired by the true story of the trials that changed the course of legal history, this gripping thriller is centred around a series of intense interrogation sessions between Kelley and the charismatic and manipulative Göring. Necessarily exploring the complex questions of justice and the nature of evil, Oscar winners Malek and Crowe lead an exceptional ensemble cast including Shannon, Richard E. Grant, John Slattery, Leo Woodall and Colin Hanks.
