ANU Professional Services Leadership Forum Sept 2026

This ANU Professional Services Leadership Forum (PSLF)  is focussed on AI in Higher Education.

AI in Higher Education is a live and multifaceted topic: from environmental impact, to issues of security and integrity, to the way Large Language Models (LLMs) are created and can be applied in our work environments. Join us as we explore AI in higher education and its adoption at ANU.

Some of the highlights of this forum will include: 

• Workshop: Large Language Models

• Welcome from the CIO (TBC)

• ANU cross-portfolio professional and academic speakers

• Coffee cart

This is the 7th PSLF supported by the COO and delivered by a volunteer committee across the university, who are committed to building knowledge, capability and networks across professional service areas to support best practice and innovation. The forum is an investment in service professionals across the ANU to support their development, talent and to highlight their value. Who should attend?

Professional staff at the ANU8-SM5 levels who are interested in investing time in their professional development.

What do I need to do?

1. Join the PSLF Teams site, if you are not already a member, to keep up to date with the forum and the leadership community.

2. Speak to your manager to seek approval, and then register to attend the forum in September. 

If you are unable to attend for any reason, let us know as soon as you can, so we can offer your spot to someone on the waitlist.
