Reopening of University House and ANU by 2030 Strategy Launch

Join us for the reopening of University House and the launch of ANU Strategy 2030, celebrating an important milestone in the University's future.
University House has stood as the ceremonial heart of the ANU since 1954. Now restored and refurbished after the 2020 hailstorm, it reopens as part of the University's 80th Anniversary year.
Developed in partnership with our community, ANU Strategy 2030 sets a shared direction for the years ahead, guiding our priorities and ambitions as we continue to strengthen our impact through education, research and engagement.
The launch takes place during the University’s 80th Anniversary year– a significant milestone that celebrates our history, recognises the people who have helped build our University, and marks the beginning of our next chapter.
The program will commence at 10am in The Hall at University House with a Welcome to Country by Ngambri-Kamberri Elder Dr Matilda House-Williams OAM and Ngambri-Kamberri Walgalu-Wiradyuri Custodian Paul Girrawah House.
Guests will also celebrate there opening of University House, led by the Master of University House, Professor Peter Kanowski, before Interim Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Rebekah Brown officially launches ANU Strategy 2030.
Following the formal proceedings, all staff are warmly invited to enjoy morning tea accompanied by a performance from students of the ANU School of Music.

Attendance is available in person or via livestream.
In-person attendance: Spaces at University House are limited and registration is essential. If you are unable to join, please cancel your ticket so we can provide the opportunity to someone else to join in person.
Livestream: If you are unable to attend in person, you are welcome to register to watch the live broadcast.
All staff, including those joining via livestream, are welcome to join us at University House from 11.30am for refreshments following the launch.
