What is Anxiety Coach?

This child development course is tailored for parents and caregivers to learn simple strategies for recognising, responding and managing anxiety in 4-12 year olds.

The course is focused on giving you the tools for you and your child to navigate life's challenges. The ideas is to follow 'parent-led' approach, where you act as the coach in your child's life, employing your reflective and comprehensive knowledge and skills to help them during emotionally difficult situations.

Developed by psychologist, author, and educator Michael Hawton, this course is delivered by an experienced Social Worker with a holistic and background working with families in the community.

We aim to work with you to equip you with a practical and accessible toolkit for anxiety, along with a sound understanding of the underlying principles, to empower you to grow resilience with your child.
