Why not join Cathie and Delma around the workshop table and get your creative juices flowing.

Bring along your current project or a UFO (unfinished object!) and enjoy the company of other crafters.

The kettle will be on and endless cuppas available during the day. Bring a plate or packet of bikkies to share. BYO lunch or grab a takeaway in the village.

Refund policy

General Cancellation and No-Show Policies for Village Creative Studio Co-op. Below are the terms and conditions for workshop participation: • Gift vouchers are available and may be used for workshop bookings. • Credits from cancelled or postponed workshops may be applied toward booking a new workshop. • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment. • A minimum of two participants is required for a class to proceed. • Classes may be cancelled or postponed at any time; in such cases, participants will receive a full refund or credit applicable to another workshop within 12 months. The refund or credit will not exceed the original workshop price. • If a participant cannot attend a workshop after booking and payment, or does not attend, no refunds or credits can be issued, as preparation have been completed, and places may have been reserved for others. All purchases are final. • Workshop bookings are transferable; if you cannot attend, you may nominate someone else to take your place. Please email info@villagecreativestudio.com.au prior to transferring, as there may be a waitlist. • It is recommended that participants note workshop dates and times. • For further clarification regarding workshop dates, times, or requirements, please contact info@villagecreativestudio.com.au

Village Creative Studio is a not-for-profit co-operative based in Wellington Point village. We're a community of creatives committed to making, promoting, and selling high-quality handmade goods, sharing skills, and supporting and empowering each other in our pursuits. Our members, suppliers, and volunteers collaboratively run our shop and workshop space, fostering a welcoming environment of learning, connection, and belonging.

Our activities encourage the immeasurable benefits of creativity and community for good mental health and wellbeing, as well as the simple joy of gathering with real people, in the real world and creating cherished moments and memories.

Building and maintaining an intentional, supportive community whose volunteers, members, and visitors embrace a love of handmade and opportunities for the sharing of skills in traditional and contemporary arts and crafts.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

· ARTISAN HANDMADE SHOP – A curated retail space showcasing and selling locally made, high-quality handcrafted works.

· ART AND CRAFT SUPPLY SHOP – Affordable new and de-stashed craft supplies, fabrics, yarns, tools, and equipment.

· CREATIVE WORKSPACE – A dedicated space for workshops and creative circles, supporting both skill-building and social connection. Creative circles are peer-led and promote wellbeing through craft and community.

· WORKSHOPS – Led by local artisan facilitators, these hands-on classes help participants learn new techniques and gain confidence in their craft.

· COMMUNITY OUTREACH – We bring creativity into the community through events like craft days, exhibitions, retreats, and visits to local facilities such as retirement villages.

· VOLUNTEERING – Volunteers are the heart of our co-op. They enhance our operations, contribute ideas, host events, and promote our mission in the wider community.
