We have a fabulous expert panel from all levels of experience and different leisure-related areas so there will be something for everyone! Let us introduce them…

Dr Kim Encel is an early career academic at Monash University (he finished his PhD in 2019). He is an amazing, engaging educator currently working on a course design project. He is also a sport education consultant who wants to get everyone as excited about teaching as he is.

Professor Carmel Foley and Dr Meg Hibbins from University of Technology Sydney were awarded the 2021 UTS Vice Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Award for Contribution to Social Impact and Learning & Teaching. Following this, they were recipients of a 2022 ‘Citations for outstanding contributions to student learning’ in the Australian Awards for University Teaching.

Associate Professor Christian Schott of Victoria University of Wellington in Aotearoa New Zealand received the ‘Innovation in learning, teaching, and curriculum’ award in the 2022 Te Whatu Kairangi National Teaching Excellence Awards in New Zealand.
