ANZASA is pleased to announce its biennial conference to be held November 26 - 28, 2025, on the campus of the University of Melbourne, as part of the 2025 Congress of the Council for the Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences (CHASS).

The theme of the conference is ‘Democracy and Resilience’. It will bring together scholars researching and teaching all aspects of the history, politics and culture of the United States of America.

There are three confirmed keynote speakers:

Kendall Johnson (University of Hong Kong)

Nancy Beck Young (University of Houston)
