    Event description

Our Sunday Sessions are back for a burst of music before winter hits.

We are hitting it for Easter with a Saturday session at your favourite wee brewery in a field and are excited to bring you some amazing music, delicious food and an awesome array at the bar.

This session features someone with strong connections to Aotea, McKenzie Comer (MCK) playing in a duo with some soulful pop tunes that will have you grooving in the afternoon sunshine, then we will crank it up a bit with DJ Taylor Roche spinning some tunes into the evening.

    MCK (Duo)

Mckenzie Comer returned in 2018 under MCK after being discovered on YouTube at 13, and has since released a substantial catalogue of projects and singles and established herself as a creative force in the wider music industryseeing consistent support from NZ on Air and national radio over the years. Her debut album "Becoming" was released in February of 2022, featuring "Tunnel Vision" and "An Honest Mess feat. Mountain Boy" which received global recognition and praise by publications including Rolling Stone, Tone Deaf, Under the Radar US, and Happy Mag.

    Taylor Roche

Announced as the “Number 1 Most Viewed New Zealand Artist” on the official TikTok charts last month, Taylor Roche has his own viral formula down to a fine art. Not only has he built a following of over 300k in just under two years, but he has reached a huge global audience without leaving his bedroom in Auckland, New Zealand; even being endorsed by the likes of Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Joe Jonas, Shania Twain and Finneas. While pursuing his artistic endeavours and working as a DJ, Taylor has also become widely known as the face of Spark Arena, running their TikTok account to engage with fans and promote upcoming shows.

We are working with Barrier Social Club to provide shuttles from the brewery so that you can keep the groove going at their evening gig.
