Event description
The APEN Roadshow is a series of workshops in a range of different locations offered to APEN members and other interested attendees.
The theme for this years’ Roadshow is “Getting the most out of a mentoring relationship” with the day based around the value of connection, sharing and learning from others.
Mentoring is something we all experience either formally or informally in our professional and personal lives so ensuring we have the skills and understanding of what makes a successful mentoring relationship will guarantee it’s a worthwhile experience with tangible outcome for both parties.

- How to have constructive conversations and ask the right questions
- The benefits of an effective mentoring relationship

Facilitator Rebel Black:
Rebel Black is a rural entrepreneur, project manager, and skilled facilitator with more than 20 years of experience in national programme and project design, development, and delivery. She has collaborated with a diverse range of clients, including government agencies, banks, community organisations, and private philanthropists. Rebel has successfully developed and led numerous multi-stakeholder projects across various industries, specialising in strategic planning, conflict resolution, community and stakeholder engagement. Her innovative methods in facilitation, community engagement and team development make her an invaluable asset to this project. Based in Lightning Ridge, NSW
