APHEDA and Earthworker Timor Leste Solidarity Night

APHEDA and Earthworker are very excited to invite you to this special evening of Solidarity featuring four amazing social justice activists and organisers from Timor Leste, Elisabeth Lino de Araujo (APHEDA Timor Leste Country Manager), Leo Soares (Earthworker Keep the Change Cooperative, FES and UNAER), Else Pinto (Earthworker Keep the Change Cooperative and IEFS) and Jenito Santana (KSI and Federasaun Ekonomia Solidaria - FES)

In partnership with Earthworker Australia, our first International Cooperative venture - Keep the Change - Maintain the Hope - is holding its inaugural Roundtable in Melbourne this month. Don't miss this opportunity to hear directly from the Organisers of Timorese farmers and community cooperatives about how they are successfully organising farmers into unions, running farmer schools for young community leaders and the establishment of successful financial farmer cooperatives, equipped to export delicious organic Timorese coffee beans overseas and build the solidarity economy of Timor Leste.
