Event description

The APHEDA Brisbane Activist Group invites you to celebrate International Women's Day with a screening of the award-winning 2020 movie: 'Misbehaviour' based on the true story of a team of women hatching a plan to disrupt the 1970 Miss World beauty competition in London.

"A powerful window into this rowdy, angry and game-changing historical moment where gender and race collided" Alexandra Heller-Nicholas, ABC Radio.

Drinks, snack packs and raffle tickets available for pre-purchase or on the night.

Raffle prizes: 1st: $100 book voucher 2nd: $50 book voucher.

All proceeds will go to APHEDA Women's projects.
