APOTHECARY

Since studying together James Todd (guitar), Will Ellerton (keyboard) and Sam Scully (drums) have played a variety of gigs as band mates. Now, after many a jam session conjuring collective frequencies, they present to you: APOTHECARY a groove-heavy, improv-laden trio with an aim of honest, interactive music to bop your head to. Inspired by artists such as Kamaal Williams, Christian Scott, 30/70 and Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, APOTHECARY is an inquisitive exploration of the musical spaces surrounding neo-soul, jazz, EDM, house, afrobeat and DnB.

Following Will’s departure to Melbourne in 2025, the trio have had few chances to play live, though their musical synergy is still alive and well. For their show on December 11th the stars have aligned: here they will present a collection of largely original music, with select covers, in what is sure to be the musical cure to any ailment.
