MATES In Construction SA and Country SA PHN have partnered together to offer free suicide prevention training within the Barossa Community.
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid that teaches you how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety.
Anyone over 18 years is eligible to register for this training session and no prerequisites are required. Registrations are required prior to the course. Anyone not registered will unfortunately not be able to participate on the day.
