Join us for a 3 hour CE credit class taught by Scott Murphy (CEO of D.S. Murphy and Chairman of the GREAB), Grant Murphy (COO of D.S. Murphy and SRA Certified Appraiser) and Mark Caffiers (President of Inspections). Learn what appraisers and inspectors do when they appraise a property and perform a home inspection. Using the subject property, you will have the opportunity to participate in the process. The first hour of the class you will follow one of the instructors to examine the property from their perspective. After lunch you will switch groups and follow the other instructor. You will learn how to measure a house - and actually see how it's done. You will take a look at the home systems and be able to discuss an inspection with your client. We will cover items which add value, those that detract and much more.

*This property is not a listing. The home is occupied by the owner who has graciously offered it for our use as the subject property of this Field Trip study. It is not for sale. We ask that attendees treat the space with the utmost respect and care.

Academy of Real Estate, LLC is an approved GREC Real Estate School. These in-class offerings are approved for 3 hrs of CE by the GREC and the GA Appraisers Board. There are no prerequisites for these classes. Certification of completion credits will be provided only if the student attends all hours of instruction. The school will not allow anyone to recruit students to become a new affiliate for any brokerage firm on the school premises during a class or one hour immediately before or one hour after a class meets. The school or instructor will promptly report any violation of this rule to the school director/coordinator or the GREC. A student will not receive any CE credit for taking a course if they have taken the same course within the previous twelve months.
