Amanda has lived in and out of Utah for 35 years and now resides in Sandy with her family. Always a lover of art and the outdoors, she spent many hours as a child in the woods behind her home drawing, painting, and creating. Amanda has dabbled in a wide variety of artistic mediums, always drawn to realism, nature, the stories of people, and the details of ordinary life. She discovered needle felting during a challenging season of my life. She found it a therapeutic and forgiving medium - easy to experiment with and providing many possibilities for color and texture. Amanda works to capture the wonder of creation and the beauty of ordinary things in our local environment through wool painting.
