    Event description

Do you struggle to slow down amidst life's hustle and bustle?

Would you like to feel more grounded and present?

This experience is for you if you're seeking: rest, stress relief, joy, mindfulness, inspiration, novelty and connections.

Forest Bathing, also known as Shinrin-Yoku, means bathing in the forest atmosphere or taking in the forest through our senses. Benefits from this practice have been scientifically studied and quantified. Some of these include: increased immunity, improved sleep, reduced stress, and increased concentration, mental focus and creativity.

Your internationally accredited (ANFT) guide, Clara Arribas, will lead you through a sensory meditation to help you to switch off and slow down.

In partnership with the land, Clara will lead the group through a series of nature connection 'invitations' to deliberately slow down, and to become present and mindful, while gently walking in this beautiful location. For most parts of the walk, we are engaging individually with nature, but we gather in multiple short sharing sessions to connect with the circle. We will conclude with a tea ceremony to integrate the experience.

This is a small group experience and is suitable for people 16 years and over.

The event will take place rain or shine, unless the weather is extreme. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel or reschedule.

    What to bring
    • Comfortable clothes are encouraged.
    • Participants should dress for the weather. Forest bathing is a slow practice, so wearing or bringing extra layers is encouraged.
    • Water bottle, sunscreen and a hat.
    • Rain jacket/pants (depending on forecast).
