Come celebrate National Poetry Month and Indie Bookstore Week with the first of our monthly kids open mic nights!

Read a poem, tell a joke, play some music, or read your favorite picture book!

Sign-ups start at 5, performances start at 5:30.

Our events are free, but require an RSVP to make sure we can accommodate everyone. All events are welcoming, and a safe space for everyone. Most events will take place at Second Star to the Right Bookstore. Some might be at off site locations, so be sure to note the location on the event. We ask that you please be on time to be courteous to visiting authors, storytime presenters, and other event attendees. With events at the bookstore, keep in mind street parking, and a parking garage located next to Tokyo Bakery.
