Event description

Have you ever wondered how best to deal with criticism?

This month following the Calm-Abiding Meditation session, there will be a special talk on How to Deal with Criticism in 4 Simple Steps, presented by Greg O'Rourke.

Greg O'Rourke is a trained Calm-Abiding Meditation teacher, who has years of experience as a meditation teacher, as well as being a senior student of Buddhist philosophy.

In this special talk on Sunday, 28th April, Greg will present in clear and succinct way, some simple techniques we can employ when faced with criticism to transform what can be an unpleasant experience into an opportunity to learn, grow and connect utilising time-honoured Buddhist teachings.

This meditation and talk is suitable for beginners, and also for experienced meditators who wish to enhance their practice. You are welcome to sit on a cushion or chair.

The entry is free, but donations are welcome to help us continue to offer classes and workshops, and periodically invite Tibetan Buddhist teachers to give teachings. The suggested donation for a session is $10.

You are welcome to stay afterwards for a cuppa and chat, and if you can, please bring along something to share for morning tea. We look forward to seeing you there!
