April RMRW2: Dogs in the Park
Event description
Have you made significant progress with the Reactivity Meets Real World program or private sessions with our instructors and want to continue your journey? Do you want more opportunity to expose your dog to controlled distraction? Ready to take the next step to a less predictable environment?
Join us for Reactivity Meets Real World 2: Dogs in the Park, where we'll be taking the skills learned in the program and bringing them into an outdoor environment. Gone are the barriers, but we have the benefit of distance on our side. You will have one to two instructors at all times monitoring external-to-class triggers and helping you with specific skills stations to practice and hone what you've already been building.
This class will consist of four weeks of group sessions, your dog will attend with you during each session. The maximum number of dogs per class is four.
Please note this class location is a public park, there will be real-life distractions there including humans walking, cars on the quiet road, dogs, geese, squirrels, and passing watercraft. Please feel free to visit the location prior to signing up to assess your comfort with the space. Your instructors will be present to help you navigate all intended as well as unplanned distractions.
Prerequisite: Reactivity Meets Real World Program or instructor approval following private sessions; you will be refunded if you do not meet these prerequisites.
