Come and join us at Tinkd Makerspace in Tauranga CBD for a hands-on taster kit activity during these April school holidays! We have created fun taster kits aimed at allowing participants to learn how to use the amazing equipment we have at Tinkd.

Using the Laser Cutting Taster Kit you will create a magnetic, polaroid style, photo frame, cut on the laser cutter, additional Easter themed embellishments will be available for those wanting to make it themed.

IS THIS A WORKSHOP?

No. This is a self-guided session for you and your child. Each kit contains step by step instructions to help you achieve a successful end project with the help of the adult who accompanies the child and with supervision from the Tinkd team.

DO I NEED TO STAY WITH MY CHILD?

An adult helper must stay and work with the child, each adult helper can supervise no more than 3 children.

WHAT'S THE IDEAL AGE FOR THIS ACTIVITY?

This session is suitable for children aged 8 to 16 years old. It should be able to be completed within the 1.5 hour window, and may even be finished earlier than this.
