Event description
Two FREE sessions Friday 21 April - 10.30am-12pm & 1pm-2.30pm Port Chalmers Library.
Through hands-on encounters, explore the way animals in our local marine environment survive with the Aquavan and staff from the NZ Marine Studies Centre! Find out how these animals protect themselves and find food in coastal waters through fun activities, storytelling, and the mobile touch tank.
- Meet the Animals – get hands-on with local marine creatures and meet your coastal neighbours, with our mobile touch tank!
- Interactive games and activities to learn how soil can affect marine life hosted by the NZMSC and library staff.
