Members and friends are invited to the 2024 Arab Council Australia Annual General Meeting.
Dr. Randa Abdel-Fattah, renowned author, academic, and human rights advocate, will join us as our special guest speaker. Dr. Abdel-Fattah will delve into the crucial topic of Academic Freedom and the Palestine Exception: the censoring of pro-Palestine and pro-Arab voices from public discourse.
AGM Chair, Fatima Ali, will also deliver a presentation on Anguish in the Diaspora: Escalation into Lebanon and the impact on community.
