Welcome to Tasmania for the 2026 Arboricultural Australia Conference.

Are you an arborist curious about the ancient forests of Tasmania? Would you like to study tree growth in the world’s tallest and largest flowering forests?

Join us for an field practical educational excursion to the ancient forests of Mount Field National Park!

We have put together a special, conference-linked, arborist-focused Expedition to the Tasmania’s famous Giant Eucalypt and Southern Hemisphere Rainforests. Forest Science in the Giant Forests of Mount Field National Park This intensive field practical will take you into the tall eucalypt forests, cool temperate rainforests, and to famous waterfalls of Mount Field National Park.

Includes:

  • Full-day excursion from Grand Chancellor Hotel (departing 9:00 AM, returning 4:00 PM) (or meet us on-site)

  • Includes delicious sandwich & juice lunch from the legendary Pigeon Whole Bakery

  • Includes National Park Admission
