Forget everything you know about typical whale watching. This isn't a slow cruise from a distance; this is an adventure! Join Arc Goes To aboard Ocean Extreme's high-speed OSPREY vessel for an unforgettable experience out on the open ocean.

After departing from Circular Quay, you'll cruise to Rose Bay before the OSPREY powers through Sydney Heads and into the Tasman Sea. Guided by an experienced skipper who is in constant communication with other vessels, we'll head straight to the most active and approachable whale pods, giving you the best chance to witness these incredible giants up close in their natural habitat. 🐋💙

With its purpose-built design and high-speed capability, the OSPREY gets you out to the whales faster and offers an exhilarating ride that you won't get on a traditional whale watching cruise. Whether it's your first whale watching experience or your tenth, this is one you'll never forget.

This experience is valued at $149 per person, but thanks to Arc Goes To, UNSW students can join for just $10! (Excluding Humanitix fees.)

WHAT TO BRING

🧥 Warm clothing and a jacket; it can get cold and windy out on the water.

👕 A spare change of clothes, just in case you get splashed!

💊 Motion sickness medication (recommended to be taken before boarding if you're prone to seasickness).

💳 Your UNSW Student ID Card with a valid Arc sticker or digital membership.

📸 Your camera or phone you'll want to capture this experience!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You'll be travelling aboard Ocean Extreme's OSPREY, a purpose-built high-speed whale watching vessel.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled departure time for check-in.
You must bring your valid UNSW Student ID with you.
Places are limited, therefore registrations are essential. If you're unable to attend, it is critical that you cancel your registration via Humanitix as soon as possible to allow other students the opportunity to participate.
In the event that you do not inform us about your cancellation, Arc retains the right to cancel any future trips you may have booked with us.

PLEASE NOTE

This program is for UNSW students only. UNSW Student ID's will be checked at each event and they must match the order details.
Tickets are not available for resale.
Any student who arrives over 10 minutes after the specified meet time will be denied entry, and not granted a refund.
Refunds will not be given within 48 hours / 2 business days of trip departure, regardless of the reason. Refunds must be requested via Humanitix, not email or through social media.
