ARC Industry facing and Industry linked Funding Opportunities
Event description
The Office of Research invites early and mid-career UWA researchers to attend a presentation and Q&A session with Professor Gavin Reid, Executive Director (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences), Australian Research Council (ARC).
Professor Reid's presentation will include information on the ARC funding available through the Linkage Program schemes, with a particular focus on the Industry Fellowships Program, as well as Industry facing opportunities available through the Linkage Projects scheme. Topics include how these differ to those in the ARC's Discovery Program schemes, the requirements involved, and how these schemes can form part of a seamless path through to translation and commercialisation outside of the ARC funding environment.
Early and mid-career researchers who are currently engaged with industry, or intend to build their industry engagement are encouraged to register to attend.
