ARC Linkage Projects - Insights about the scheme and creating a quality proposal
Event description
The Australian Research Council’s (ARC) Linkage Projects scheme promotes national and international research partnerships between researchers and business, industry, community organisations and other publicly funded research agencies. By supporting the development of partnerships, the ARC encourages the transfer of skills, knowledge and ideas as a basis for securing commercial and other benefits of research. The Linkage Projects scheme supports projects which initiate or develop long term strategic research alliances to apply advanced knowledge to problems, acquire new knowledge and as a basis for securing commercial and other benefits of research.
The benefits of the scheme are many and varied, and to hear about these and other aspects of the Linkage Project Scheme, please join us when ARC Executive Director, Professor Anika Gauja, visits UTS. Professor Gauja will speak to the workings of the scheme, what will and may not be funded, and what makes a high quality proposal. Joining Professor Gauja will be Professor Alan Morris, Institute for Public Policy and Governance. Alan holds several Linkage projects and will speak about his experiences with the scheme.
