ARC Linkage Projects training - June 2024
Event description
ANU Business Development Managers, the College Research Offices and the Associate Deans Research are pleased to offer a tailored training session for early, mid-career and experienced researchers to develop the best possible applications to the Australian Research Council's Linkage Project scheme.
The Linkage Program promotes national and international research partnerships between researchers and business, industry, community organisations and other publicly funded research agencies. By supporting the development of partnerships, the ARC encourages the transfer of skills, knowledge and ideas as a basis for securing commercial and other benefits of research.
The program is an important source of funding for researchers and the university.
The training was successfully piloted last year in the College of Asia and the Pacific and the College of Science, and we are now offering the training to all ANU researchers interested in Linkage Projects.
The training will cover the following topics:
- Industry partnerships
- Collaboration between academics and research offices
- Pitching and communicating
- A good application
- Procedures and timelines
- Successful examples
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
