Want to eat healthy without spending a fortune on groceries? Join Arc Savers and UNSW DietSoc for a practical workshop exploring how affordable ingredients can help you create nutritious, satisfying meals on a student budget.

In this interactive session, you'll discover why legumes are one of the most cost-effective and versatile pantry staples available. Through a series of simple recipe demonstrations and tasting activities, you'll learn how to incorporate legumes into everyday meals to increase protein, fibre, and overall nutrition while keeping grocery costs low. 🌱💰

Using three sweet and savoury recipe examples, we'll show how inexpensive ingredients can be transformed into delicious meals and snacks that are easy to recreate at home.

What to expect? This is a relaxed and beginner-friendly workshop focused on learning practical nutrition and budgeting skills. While attendees will participate in light hands-on activities and enjoy tastings, the session is primarily designed to showcase affordable meal ideas and equip students with knowledge they can apply in their everyday lives plus light refreshments will be provided during the workshop. 🍪🥤
