An intimate house concert with Orenda Ensemble.

Step into a world where tradition meets transformation. Orenda—a unique ensemble with Michael Howell on Flute, Alix Hamilton onViola, and Adam Pinto on Piano—invites you to experience Beethoven’s Archduke Trio as you've never heard it before.

Originally composed in 1811 for the patron and pianist Archduke Rudolph of Austria, this luminous work was one of Beethoven’s final chamber pieces before total deafness overtook him. Now, centuries later, Orenda offers a fresh perspective, illuminating its grandeur and intimacy through a vibrant new timbral palette.

With the soaring voice of the flute replacing the violin, and the warm, mellow hues of the viola, this performance reveals unexpected textures and renewed lyricism—breathing new life into a timeless masterpiece.

Joined by Denmark’s own, Sarabande Ensemble, for a special musical collaboration, this evening presents chamber music as it was meant to be heard. A glass of bubbles, cozy surroundings, and music that comes alive—up close and personal.

Doors from 6:30, music from 7pm.
