Overview:
Join Dylan Farquhar, from Alwyn Projects, for a behind-the-scenes site tour of an 1880s late Victorian home in Kew, where heritage architecture meets contemporary low-energy design.
Currently undergoing renovation and extension, the project is targeting Low Energy Passivhaus certification.
With construction at pre-plaster stage, this is a unique opportunity to explore the building before key elements are concealed, including the airtightness layer, insulation and critical construction junctions.
The event will include a guided walkthrough of the project, insights into the design and construction approach, and a live Q&A with the project architect, Georgie from Paper Arc, Marcus from Hype V Hype, an ArchiTeam representative, and the project team.
An opportunity for architects and design professionals to gain practical insights into the challenges and considerations of delivering high-performance residential architecture.
