Ardna, Our Land: Community & Culture Sharing
What is it:
Be part of the of "Ardna, Our Land" family, a beautiful Bukjeh play blending climate themes with First People's narratives. We invite the community to share their special stories, cultural practicies, enriching the next iteration of the production.
Event Highlights:
- Come and enjoy a family friendly space of craft activities.
- Share your unique narratives of your culture with our community, what you love about it and support us shape the future of "Ardna, Our Land" story.
- Learn new dance movement and culture practices with First People's artists.
- Contribute to a meaningful dialogue on climate and community perspectives.
- Join a collaborative effort to co-create a more inclusive and impactful conversation.
- Meet the team and actors of Ardna and have your go acting parts of the play yourself, in your own way.
- Make shadow puppets, weave and embroid some Tatreez, learn with our community special art skills.
It is a call for makers, songwriters, musicians, performers, families & children to help us co create the story, the songs & the space as ongoing development of Ardna.
We celebrate our connection & hold space for wonder & joy in a time in need of this medicine & healing.
We cast our hearts on the horizons of climate justice & dream together its existence. Join us for a family friendly workshop of reading & creation as we weave together bonds for a just future.
