Arduino 101 - Children 10 to 16
Event description
Aimed at Kids aged 10-16 years this is a 5 week beginners STEMM Workshop to learn and experience coding using using Arduino software with the ardublock add-on. Participants will learn the basics of how to control lights, light sensors, motors and how to use this with sub-routines and Boolean logic.
Each participant will have one Arduino kit to use in the sessions as well as the use of our IT suite.
These are hands-on, guided workshops with trained staff and volunteers to support each participants learning pace.
At the end of the 5 week workshops, participants should have a basic understanding of coding using this software and be able to enrol in more advanced workshops should they choose.
