Areas of Control: Mapping Authority Transfer

Drawn from his book Why I Don’t Own Them… Yet, educator and author Devyn Stone expands on the concept of “areas of control”—the parts of life where authority can be ethically exercised within an authority transfer dynamic. From medical decisions and appearance to education, diet, and beyond, this class invites participants to examine how control is negotiated, structured, and sustained. Whether you’re new to authority transfer or refining a long-standing relationship, you’ll leave with practical tools and a clearer understanding of how to balance autonomy, consent, and ownership in daily life.
