ARES Launch Night 2026
Description
Date: Wednesday, 6:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: Copland Theatre, The Spot
Dress Code: Business Casual
The 2026 ARES Launch Night celebrates Project Odyssey alongside the team’s collective achievements over the past 12 months, highlighting our work to university leadership, industry leaders, sponsors, and the broader community. This annual flagship event provides a dedicated forum to reflect on the significant technical milestones, rigorous testing phases, and extensive design hours invested across our specialised sub-teams.
Crucially, this event marks a major transition point for Project Odyssey as we prepare for the rocket's inaugural launch scheduled for late Semester 2, paving the way for our team's participation in IREC 2027.
By showcasing our members' dedication and engineering output, we aim to demonstrate how hands-on, student-led extracurricular engineering projects shape high-calibre industry professionals while inspiring broader participation in rocketry and STEM fields. Furthermore, we wish to express our deep gratitude to FEIT and our industry partners, present our long-term vision to faculty leaders, and foster valuable connections through a post-presentation networking session.
