“The Australian Research Funding Landscape” is a series of workshops delivered through the UTS Aspire Program. Each workshop showcases the diversity of opportunities available to UTS researchers in attracting external research funding. In this workshop, we will explore the competitive schemes offered by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), strategic planning for success, and resources available. This session will include:

NHMRC Scheme Overview
Outcome statistics and tools to benchmark yourself
Significance, impact & goal setting in the NHMRC
Success factors

The session will be facilitated by Katherine Waldron, Research Capability & Development Manager in the UTS Research Office. We will also have guest speaker A/Prof Mojtaba Golzan (Graduate School of Health) who will highlight his experiences with the NHMRC grant schemes.
