An opportunity to hear the latest on groundbreaking local WA research into mental health, and of recent Australian Rotary Health developments.

After a successful launch in 2021, this second event is the award ceremony for our 2022 Australian Rotary Health WA Mental Health PhD awards.
Light refreshment only will be provided.

These awards recognise local researchers, from universities in Western Australia, who have completed an excellent PhD thesis in a mental health field. The selection panel considers this research makes an outstanding contribution to the understanding and promotion of mental health, or understanding, prevention or treatment of mental illness.

Nominees must have completed their PhD, with the research topic being relevant to the mental health field. The conferral date of the PhD must be within 12 months of the award nomination closing date.

Each School or Department from a WA university may submit one nomination. Nominations were made by the Head of School or Department where the nominee completed their PhD in collaboration with the nominee and their PhD supervisors.
