Event description

Arjun Verma is a critically acclaimed sitar performer and composer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Arjun’s music sits within the tradition of North Indian classical music, in addition to influences from other genres. Arjun trained first with his father, Roop Verma, and then with legendary sarode maestro Ali Akbar Khan. Arjun has performed internationally at venues including the United Nations, the Fillmore, and the Prague Castle. He will be accompanied by Naren Budhakar on tablas. Join us on July 3rd for an evening of North Indian Classical music at Origins Cafe.
