Armageddon Dinner Party :: Cultivating Creative Conversations that Matter is an interactive facilitated community outdoor farm-to-table dining experience designed to make serious subjects easy to explore and digest. Let's make tough topics tender such as the rise in artificial intelligence, and environmental and social collapse. Major tipping points of concern add to our collective anxiety and unrest. Reduce the noise. Discover relief in ideation, curiosity, community and creativity. It's not the END, it's the beginning! Let's cultivate tasty conversations for new beginnings, planetary flourishing and hope that brings us together.

Co-facilitated by Annelies Gentile MA, PCC of Conduit for Change, LLC and professor Sarah Egan Warren, Ph.D. of NCSU. Together, they'll hold space for tender dialogue that's also playful and powerful. Walk away informed, inspired, hopeful and curious.

Sweet Peas Urban Gardens is an urban farm at the forefront of innovative climate resilient modes of vertical indoor agriculture. We produce organic microgreens, baby leafy greens, edible flowers and mushrooms in compact urban and peri-urban indoor spaces. Owned and operated by women and minorities, the Business recognizes that accelerating forces of climate change and environmental costs of industrial farming have diminished the extent and productivity of arable land, and pose unprecedented environmental, economic and health risks. Globalization and delocalization of existing food supply chains are unable to adequately respond to concerns about the net carbon footprint, diminishing nutrition, and health safety concerns of industrially produced food. The social, environmental and economic costs of industrial farming are borne by taxpayers and consumers, making existing food systems unsustainable. Increasing public awareness of these problems has dramatically increased demand for foods produced and distributed by alternative food systems. Sweet Peas in located in historic downtown Garner and is establishing a community garden on site in early 2022. Come see us!
