Event description

The Big Bike Ride presents an evening of ancient wisdom and modern technologies that will inspire you to take individual action and work with your community towards a positive vision for the future.

This event will be run in collaboration with YARN Australia and the film 2040

YARN Australia presents culture & conversation to engage the community in our vision to build connection and unity between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People and Non-Indigenous Australians. Join us for a special evening Yarning Circle as we learn more about our shared history & culture.

2040 is an engaging and uplifting documentary from award-winning director Damon Gameau as he explores what the future could look like in 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them into the mainstream.

The Big Bike Ride aims to unite Australians around regenerative solutions.

Please join us to:

  • Hear from the community and gain a deeper understanding of the issues in your local area.
  • Be inspired in an open discussion about the practical and innovative solutions available to us in the community.
  • Explore your questions and concerns about these issues.

 Light Refreshments will be provided.
