Art and the Albatross - an Exhibition and Talk by Chrissy Wickes
Event description
Wānaka conservationist and practising artist Chrissy Wickes will be launching her first solo art exhibition tonight and we want you to join us!
Public Talk: Learn about the wild, windswept world of Campbell Island - part of New Zealand's Subantarctic Island group - where Chrissy spent ten weeks working with a small team on the Southern Royal Albatross last summer.
After Chrissy's talk, take the opportunity to view a one-night-only exhibition of the art which she was inspired to create during her time on Campbell Island.
Ticket price includes a complimentary glass of wine and nibbles. All art is for sale - orders will be taken on the night.
Proudly supported by local groups Wānaka Backyard Trapping, Forest & Bird's Central Otago Lakes Branch and Southern Lakes Sanctuary.
