Art Club with Talisa: A Workshop

This event is for transgender, gender diverse and non-binary people, and their family/ friends.

Want to contribute to making a Zine with Talisa from Art Club?

This will be a workshop for 8 people who want to make a piece of art that will be apart of a Zine that will celebrate Art Club and Transgender Victoria.

Come along and explore a range of art mediums in a workshop that encourages an intuitive therapeutic approach to art making. The art activities will be used to establish safety and offer opportunities for self-expression, affirmation, and social connection. 

All TGD folks 16 years and over are welcome, even if you haven't attended Art Club.

About the facilitator:

Talisa (she/they) is a queer writer, artist, and Visual Art educator in their final year of a Master's in Therapeutic Arts Practice.

Who is it for:

• Trans, gender diverse and non-binary folk, and their family/friends.

• The group is neurodivergent, POC, and all abilities friendly. 

• Participants must be 16 years and over.

Covid safety: 
We acknowledge that COVID-19 has an ongoing impact on all members of our communities, especially our immunocompromised and disabled communities.

Below are the strategies we are implementing at this event to increase our COVID-19 safety and build a culture of community care:

• Free N95 and K94 masks are available, and wearing them is encouraged. Let’s keep each other safe!

• Doors and windows will be opened when suitable (bring warm clothes as it can get a little chilly).

• Hand sanitiser

• Air Purification

What can you do to increase COVID-19 safety at our events?

• Complete a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test before attending any of our events.

• Feel like you are coming down with a cold or flu? Please stay home and cancel your booking by emailing us.

• Bring your favourite mask to wear! (If wearing a mask is accessible for you).
